Can I use SVO in my car?

SVO may be used in a specially prepared vehicle with a Diesel engine.  The preparation is necessary because SVO has a much higher viscosity than diesel fuel, so it generally cannot be used to start the engine and should be pre-heated before being used by the engine.  The most common and most trouble free preparation involves adding a 2nd tank with a heater for the SVO and using either standard diesel fuel or bioddiesel for starting the engine and for the last few minutes that the engine runs (in order to clear the fuel lines and injectors of the SVO).
